Mike is one of the Co-Owners of Regional Scuba and holds the PADI Assistant Instructor and Divemaster Certifications.
He has been diving since 1978 and has seen many changes in the scuba industry. With hundreds of dives in Northeast Wreck Diving,
warm water Wreck Diving in North Carolina, the St. Lawrence Seaway in Canada, Florida, the Caribbean, and off the coast of
California Mike has the experience to talk about all areas of scuba diving.
Mike is also one of Regional Scuba’s top equipment technicians and is qualified to work on all Aqua Lung, Apex, Sherwood
and Genesis equipment. He is also an experienced Nitrox Blender and Visual Inspector for scuba cylinders.
Mike started diving in 1978 and has seen a revolution in the Instruction and Equipment used for Recreational Scuba Diving.
The equipment is more reliable and performs better than ever. The new methods used to teach scuba are more innovative and
easier to learn than ever before. What used to take 13 weeks now only takes three. You can even try a dive in your local pool
for free. Mike enjoyed assisting in the training both of his daughters, Leah and Hayley, who are Advanced Open Water Divers.
Their favorite destinations are North Carolina and the warm waters of the Caribbean.
